The first step in working with us is to schedule a discovery call with our principal designer, Ruth Hyndman. You will discuss your project needs and Ruth will answer your questions about our work and our process. Following the discovery call, we'll schedule a more detailed consultation at your home. You will introduce us to your home and show us the areas where work will be performed. During this consultation Ruth will get to know you; she will ask you about your goals, your preferences and your expectations. After the consultation, we will send you a project proposal and a contract.

Next, you'll work closely with us to curate our style and design inspiration suggestions for your project. Simultaneously, we will work to compile and organize essential project details. This will establish the foundation for a design plan that reflects your vision and your lifestyle. We'll visit the job site to take photos, measurements, and meet with any relevant tradespeople. During this phase, we'll begin by presenting initial design concepts and subsequent meetings will efficiently progress your project towards its final design plan. The length of this phase and the number of meetings will depend on the scope and complexity of your project.

The design plan will consist of a detailed presentation featuring layouts, color palettes, fixtures and fittings, and budget details. 3-D renderings can be an important part of more complex projects; they are an invaluable resource that allows you to truly visualize the space before signing off on the final design plan.

This phase involves careful planning, vendor selection and order management to ensure that the design plan is realized within budget and on schedule. Order are tracked, inspected upon arrival and any issues addressed promptly.

We’ll provide oversight of design-related items during construction, including site visits, as required.
